Productivity Goal Setting Reflections

Is It Worth it to Set Yearly Goals?
#

In my opinion, the answer is yes; it’s worth it, because it is actually possible to achieve them, here is what I did to achieve my goals

How to Achieve Your Goals
#

From my personal experience, achieving goals is all about mindset and clarity. Understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Explore the concept of a growth mindset – it’s crucial.

Build habits; I recommend reading “Atomic Habits” for a deeper understanding.

Write yearly goals and break them down into monthly, weekly, and daily tasks as you see fit.

The best times to set your goals are when you’re inspired. The end of the year, your birthday, or during final exams – all these are great times.

Monk Mode

Consider going into “monk mode” if you can. Disconnect from the world and focus all day on developing yourself. Incorporate activities like exercising, journaling, meditating, reading, and learning a hard skill every day for 2 to 3 months. I did it in 2022, and it was incredibly rewarding.

Procrastination Trick
#

Here’s a trick: when faced with a task, either do it or do nothing. Doing nothing will eventually make you bored, and that boredom can be the inspiration you need to start working.

Early Morning Productivity
#

Another effective strategy is to start your day by doing the most important task before anything else. This sets a positive tone for the rest of the day.

“Doing one good habit will inspire you to do more good habits, and doing one bad habit will inspire you to do more bad habits. Choose your habits wisely.”
